The Rankins of the Ark-La-Tex - referring to the three states where
they were born and raised - are depicted in these pages.


This is a story of the move of a group of families from Mississippi to DeSoto Parish, Louisiana
in the late 1800s. The Rankin Family of the Ark-La-Tex are descendants of the Mississippi Settlers.
